Article Processing Charges (APC)

Article Processing Charges (APC) Policy

The Journal of Religious, Literature and Cultural Studies (JORLCS) is committed to promoting equitable access to academic publishing and upholding the principles of open-access scholarship. In line with this mission, JORLCS currently does not impose any Article Processing Charges (APCs), submission fees, or publication fees at any stage of the editorial or publishing process.

This means that authors are not required to pay for:

  • Submitting their manuscript

  • Undergoing peer review

  • Editorial handling and formatting

  • Online publication and open access availability

By removing financial barriers, JORLCS ensures that scholars from all regions—regardless of economic background or institutional funding—can contribute to and benefit from high-quality academic research.

The journal is fully funded through institutional support, editorial contributions, and voluntary academic service, allowing it to maintain high editorial standards without commercial influence. We believe that knowledge should be freely accessible and freely contributed, and we strive to foster an inclusive academic environment where research can thrive without cost constraints.

However, in case any Article Processing Charges (APCs) are applicable in the future, the corresponding author will be clearly informed after the article is submitted but before any peer review or production processes commence. This ensures full transparency and allows the author to make an informed decision without any obligation.

Authors retain copyright of their published articles under a [Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY)], allowing wide dissemination while preserving author rights.
