REFUND POLICY

At the Journal of Religious, Literature and Cultural Studies (JORLCS), we are committed to transparency and fairness in all financial transactions related to publication, printing, or any optional services. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which payments may or may not be refunded.

Article Processing Charges (APC)

Non-Refundable:
JORLCS operates under a no APC policy. However, in the event that APCs are introduced for future services or partnerships, any payment made after article acceptance will be non-refundable, even if the author later decides to withdraw the manuscript voluntarily.

Duplicate Payments:
If a duplicate payment is made by mistake, the author must notify the editorial office within 14 days. Upon verification, a full refund of the duplicate amount will be processed.

Printing and Delivery Charges (Applicable only if optional print copies are requested)

Refunds for Printing Errors:
In case of major printing defects or delivery of the wrong issue, JORLCS will either replace the printed copy or issue a full refund, provided the claim is made within 7 working days of receiving the copy.

Non-Delivery of Printed Copy:
If a printed copy is not delivered due to an error on our part, we will either reship the copy or offer a full refund. JORLCS is not responsible for failed delivery resulting from incorrect postal addresses provided by the requester.

Withdrawal After Payment

  • If an author withdraws the manuscript after acceptance and payment, no refund will be issued.

  • If the journal withdraws a manuscript due to ethical violations (e.g., plagiarism, data manipulation, or authorship disputes), any paid charges will not be refunded.

Processing Time

All approved refunds will be processed within 10–15 business days via the original method of payment, or as otherwise agreed with the author.
