ARCHIVING POLICY
The Journal of Religious, Literature and Cultural Studies (JORLCS) is committed to the long-term preservation and accessibility of all published content. To ensure the integrity and availability of scholarly work, the journal adopts multiple digital archiving strategies.
Digital Archiving Systems
JORLCS intends to participate in trusted digital preservation networks such as:
-
LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe)
-
CLOCKSS (Controlled LOCKSS)
These systems ensure that even in the event of website failure or server issues, all published content remains permanently accessible.
Institutional Repositories
Authors are encouraged to deposit the published version of their article in their institutional or subject-based repositories immediately after publication, in line with the journal’s open-access policy.
Journal Website Backup
All articles are stored and regularly backed up on secure servers and databases, ensuring redundancy and protection against data loss.
Indexing & Metadata Preservation
The journal works with indexing platforms (e.g., Google Scholar, ResearchBib, DOAJ) to preserve metadata and abstracts, increasing visibility and citation longevity.
JORLCS remains committed to ongoing efforts to preserve digital scholarship and promote free, uninterrupted access to academic research worldwide.
