Author's Guidelines

Authors submitting to the Journal of Religious, Literature and Cultural Studies (JORLCS) are advised to follow these guidelines to ensure a smooth submission and review process. The journal accepts original research articles, review papers, and theoretical contributions related to religion, literature, and cultural studies.

Manuscript Structure

Submissions should be structured as follows:

  • Title (concise and descriptive)

  • Abstract (150–250 words with keywords)

  • Introduction

  • Methodology (if applicable)

  • Main Text / Discussion

  • Conclusion

  • References

Formatting

  • Manuscripts must be submitted in Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx).

  • Use Times New Roman, 12-point font, double-spaced, with standard 1-inch margins.

  • Headings should be clear and consistent (use no more than 3 heading levels).

Citation Style

  • Use APA Style (7th Edition) for in-text citations and references.

  • Ensure all references cited in-text appear in the reference list and vice versa.

Abstract & Keywords

  • Provide an abstract that summarizes the research objectives, methods, findings, and significance.

  • Include 3–5 relevant keywords below the abstract.

Language

  • All submissions must be in English, written clearly and free from grammatical or typographical errors.

  • Authors are responsible for language editing before submission.

Originality

  • Submissions must be original, unpublished, and not under review elsewhere.

  • All manuscripts will be checked for plagiarism before peer review.

Peer Review

  • All articles undergo a double-blind peer review by at least two experts.

  • Authors may be asked to revise their papers based on reviewers’ feedback.

Author Information

  • Include full names, affiliations, and email addresses of all authors.

  • Clearly indicate the corresponding author.

Ethical Compliance

  • Authors must disclose any conflicts of interest and confirm ethical approval for any studies involving human participants, where applicable.

Submission Process

  • Authors must register or log in to the journal’s online submission system to submit their manuscripts.

  • Follow on-screen steps to upload your manuscript and metadata.
