The role of religious trends in Urdu journalism is profound and deeply rooted in the socio-cultural and political landscape of the subcontinent. Urdu journalism, since its inception, has been a significant tool for the dissemination of religious views, which often intertwine with national identity, societal norms, and political narratives. This paper explores the influence of religious perspectives within Urdu journalism, analyzing how religious ideas have been presented and interpreted over time in various newspapers and magazines. Furthermore, it examines the impact of these trends on public opinion and their role in shaping socio-political movements. By investigating the works of prominent journalists and media houses, this study aims to shed light on the continuous evolution of religious discourse in Urdu media, alongside the complex relationship between religion and politics. The study also delves into the ethical responsibilities of journalists in maintaining objectivity while reporting on religious matters and the increasing role of media in religious propagation.
